Professional Tennis Coach, Judy Chaloner

Judy Chaloner has been the club pro at Campbell Park Tennis Club since September 1996. Her connection to the club goes back to the early 1970's when she was a member of the club's winning Caro Bowl Team.

Judy was ranked No 1 in NZ from 1973- 1980, played Federation Cup for NZ from 1972-81 and won the NZ Ladies Singles , Doubles and Mixed titles also during the 70's. She travelled extensively as a pro for 8 years, playing in all the Grand Slam events, and in 1979 won the Australian Open Doubles title.

Judy organises the entire junior programme at the club which caters for 5-17 year olds - this includes beginners, social players and interclub players. Junior coaching clinics and tournaments are held regularly in the school holidays.

Judy also has a strong input with the Midweek Ladies teams, coaching them on a regular basis in the summer. Her coaching expertise is also available to senior members and non members, who are welcome to book a lesson by phoning Judy at the club.

Junior Coaching
Coaching sessions: (October - late March/early April)

During the above times all courts will be in use, except for Mondays and Wednesdays, when 2-3 courts will be used.

The club coach has sole coaching rights at Campbell Park Tennis Club, and the use of one court at any time.
